Abstract: | Involvement of parents regarding the education of their children is one of the major factor that boost the children for showing better academic achievement in different examinations. The present study aims to know the involvement of parents for better academic achievement of the students at higher secondary final examination. The study was descriptive in nature and survey method was applied to know the involvement of parents on academic achievement of their children. Total 198 students from class-xii who appeared and passed in the same examination in Golaghat district, Assam were selected as sample of the study and their parents. A self- constructed questionnaire was applied to collect the data from the respondents. The findings of the study revealed that there was a positive relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement of the students of higher secondary final examination. |
